After some helpful critiques, I found that the most powerful symbol of generosity was the bow. I spent the weekend considering various potential applications of this icon and came up with three new illustrations.

This image is representative of the act of Euthanasia. I believe that this can be a very generous act if an individual is in a state of suffering. The plug is no longer in the socket and the cord mirrors the pattern of an EKG readout that is flatlining. The bow symbolizes the generosity of the action of pulling the plug.

A cadaver with a bow instead of a toe tag is the subject of this image. This image is the weakest of the three because when I created it, I only enjoyed it for the imagery, and did not have a solid reasoning for the symbols I chose.

The final image in the set is that of a small child's shoe with a ribbon bow in place of a laced knot. The reasoning for this is that I believe it requires an extremely generous person to be willing to raise and care for a child. Far too many parents walk out on their offspring or give them up, and this seems like a thoroughly selfish action.
