Patterns

After a lot of speculation, the final objective of our project has been revealed. The images originally designed are to be narrowed to one favorite and then converted into a design capable of being printed in a pattern. This pattern will eventually be applied to fabric or some sort of wearable clothing, but for now we were told simply to experiment with paper printing. This is in order to isolate which color schemes, layouts, and aesthetics best fit our imagery.

A secondary aspect of today's assignment is to research various patterns and structures for inspiration and information on techniques for the repetition and accuracy desired in pattern making. Below are some reference images I have gathered on the subject.
